1. Are villas equipped with air-conditioning?

The villas usually have air-conditioning in the bedrooms and it is mentioned on the webpage. We would ask, however, that they be used to a minimum and that all doors and windows are closed when the air-con is on, as we endeavour to be environmentally friendly.

2. Are there any restrictions regarding children?

Children are welcome in our villas. Villas in Mauritius and Seychelles with pools rarely have a safety net or fence. We would ask that children are looked after at all times.

3. Is there a minimum stay?

Minimum stay is usually 7 nights and during peak period 14 nights. Some of the top villas accept shorter periods.

4. Can we hold an option?

Yes, we can ask the owner to hold an option for 48 hours whilst you finalise your flight details.

5. Are they weekly rates?

No, all our rates are on a nightly basis.

6. Is there a daily meal charge?

Some villas include a chef or local cook. The self-catering villas and apartments come without a cooking service. This can be arranged should you wish. Please consult the villa page for details.

7. Can we hire a cook whilst we are there?

Yes, we can arrange and book a cook in advance who will discuss the menus with you, do your shopping and prepare the meals.

8. Is the pool shared with other guests?

A villa with private pool has its own pool, which is not shared. However, there are some villas are part of residences and share a larger pool and this is indicated on the villa page and fact sheet.

9. How far is the beach?

Most of our villas are right on the beach. However there are a few where the beach is within walking distance or a short car journey and these details are on the villa page and fact sheet.

10. Are the other rooms rented out?

If you book one of our villas, you have use of the whole villa and the other rooms even if unoccupied by you are not rented to other guests.

11. Are there nightlife and restaurants?

Some villas are in quieter locations and others in locations where there is more entertainment and nightlife. Please indicate whether you require a quieter or livelier environment and we can advise.

12. Do the villas have WiFi ?

Most villas nowadays come with Wifi. Please however check the villa page.

13. Does the TV have English channels?

As different satellite packages are used by the villa owners, if this is important to you, please check with the reservations team.

14. Are cots available?

Yes, cots and high chairs are available. In some villas they are free of charge and in others there is a charge to cover the transportation costs.

15. Is the price per person?

The villas are priced per villa per night. However some villas have a rate depending on occupancy; i.e. 2-4 persons, 5-6 persons and 7-8 persons.

16. Can you arrange car rental?

Yes, car rental can be arranged. If you choose a small car pick up at the airport, please bear in mind that you may need extra transport for your luggage. Please discuss this with our reservations team.

17. Can you arrange airport transfers?

Yes, we can arrange airport transfers and would ask you refer to our transfer page. Please bear in mind if you have a lot of luggage, like buggies or golf clubs, an extra minivan might be required.

18. Are taxes included?

Yes, local taxes are included in all our quotations.

19. Do I have to bring my own bed linen and towels?

All our villas supply bed linen and bathroom towels. Sometimes beach towels are supplied; however it is better to check the villa pages for the inclusions.

20. How often are the beds and towels changed?

The policy of changing sheets and towels depends on the villa owner and their maid. We endeavour to be environmentally friendly, and ask you to consider the shortage of water on these islands.

21. What are the check in and checkout times?

In general check in time is 14.00 and check out time 10.00 to allow the maids time to clean the villa prior to the next arrival. You can book for an early arrival or late departure. Please advise us as soon as you have your flight details. In some cases, when there is no departure that morning, the villa will be available earlier than 14.00.

22. Do you offer discounted rates for longer stays?

Some villas have special offers at certain times of the year, even for 7 and 14 night stays. If you wish to stay for 4 weeks or longer we will ask the owner for the best possible rate.

23. How much privacy will I have around the property?

Most properties are as private and secluded as your own home, often with walls and hedges providing protection. Some villa resorts share communal facilities but your villa should remain private for you and your guests.

24. Who cleans the villa? Is the maid included?

All villas and apartments have a maid for cleaning included in the rental price but their hours and duties vary. They are however often willing to work extra hours for cooking or babysitting. An extra fee is paid directly to them. Please refer to the villa page for exact details.
