Villa Dune 1 in Poste Lafayette on the east coast of Mauritius is a typical traditional seaside holiday villa of Mauritius, consisting of old stone walls and a thatch roof.
Bedrooms
The house has 3 air-conditioned double bedrooms, all with sea view.
Two bedrooms on the ground floor each have twin beds and share a bathroom.
The main bedroom on the first floor has a king size bed and its own en-suite bathroom.
Total bedding capacity to 6.
Villa Dune 1 is next door to Villa Dune 2, a luxury villa also with swimming pool.
They are positioned in such a way that the guests of one another are not disturbed. A small garden gate links the two villas which, when booked together, can allow the accommodation of up to 14 guests.
Villa Dune 1 has a fully equipped American kitchen. There is a deck around the swimming pool which is sheltered by endemic veloutier shrubs.
As an added security for young children, the pool is equipped with a safety net, available upon request and to be installed by Jim the gardener.

Open plan living area: living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen.
Veranda with direct views of the pool and the ocean.
Separate shower room and toilet.
Upstairs
Air-conditioned master bedroom with king bed, bedside tables and lamps, closet, TV (Canal Sat) and views of the pool and the ocean. En-suite bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet.
Location
Poste Lafayette is still has a wild and natural coastline with the breaking of waves and the rustling of the casuarina trees. Food shops and restaurants are within a few minutes’ drive as are hotels and their golf courses.
Staff
The villa is serviced from 9:00 to 14:30 daily during the week and on Saturday mornings. Cooking of lunch is included, and additional work at an extra fee.
